The Municipality of Loulé will launch a public tender for the design and subsequent direct adjustment of the Health Services Building in the City of Loulé, where, among other services, the Family Health Unit – Lauroé and the Health Care Unit will operate. Community Health – People of Loulé.
This is another step in a process that began with a period of presentation and public voting of the competing proposals for the design of the building, during which citizens were able to vote on one of the two proposals that were presented, «this being one of the stages of the process of choice of the winning proposal, which had a weight of 5% in the final selection», according to Câmara de Loulé.
In the end, the jury «ranked the competitor Bruno André & Francisco Ré, Lda in first place, candidate to whom it is proposed to open the direct award procedure for award».
The Health Services Building of the City of Loulé will be built on land provided by the municipality, next to the current facilities of the Health Center of Loulé. In addition to the USF Lauroé and the UCSC Gentes de Loulé, the space will host the headquarters of the cluster of Central Health Centers – ACES Central and the University Health Center.
Its construction represents an investment of around 3,7 million euros, of which 65% will be supported by the City Council and the other 35% will be the responsibility of the Regional Health Administration of the Algarve.
