Faro there will be more accessible treadmills

City Council will invest around 100 euros in improving crosswalks

The Chamber of Faro will invest around 100 euros to make the county's crosswalks more accessible.

The work, which should start "in the coming days", consists of "lowering sidewalks to comply with accessibility rules, replacing existing pedestrian pavements with tactile pavements and the subsequent replacement of pre-existing pavements", according to the Chamber of Faro.

The contract will last for about three months and is carried out under the Faro Requalifies V, a plan that "reinforces care with accessibility and smooth mobility, implementing the recommendations of the Municipality's Mobility and Transport Plan, approved in 2018".
