Former referee Pedro Henriques will be chatting at Café Calcinha

Former international referee will talk about his career and about "the difficulties that the referee faces in the current sporting context"

Former international referee and current sports commentator Pedro Henriques will be the next guest in the “Conversations with…” section, which will take place on Thursday, the 29th, at 21 pm, at Café Calcinha, in Loulé.

In this kind of get-together, «Pedro Henriques will talk about the most important moments of his career and also about the difficulties that the referee faces in the current sporting context», according to the Câmara de Loulé, which organizes the initiative.

Born in Lisbon, Pedro Henriques has a degree in Military Sciences from the Military Academy and Lieutenant Colonel of Infantry in the Reserve. He has a Master's Degree in Management of Sports Training and a Doctorate in Sports Training from the Faculty of Human Motricity.

As an academic he has held the following functions: Specialist Professor in the area of ​​Education and Training (Sport), Researcher at the Research Center of the Higher Institute of Educational Sciences (ISCE), where he is also Professor, and Professor of Nutrition at the School of Motricity and Massage Applied (EMMA) and at the School of Arms (Mafra).

“Conversas com…” is a cycle of conversations dedicated to sport, “with the participation of personalities who have made history, whether in football or any other sport, in sports journalism or refereeing, and who come here to share their memories, their stories and stories».

Admission is free and the presentation and moderation is in charge of the journalist and communicator Neto Gomes.
