International Youth Day is being celebrated all over the Algarve and Europe will also be present at the festivities.
The Europe Direct Algarve center will be this evening at the Seafood Festival in Olhão, to publicize the #oqueaEuropafazpormim campaign, «challenging to discover #what I can do forEurope», according to the Algarve's Regional Coordination and Development Commission (CCDR).
This initiative is part of the program that the Algarve Regional Directorate of the Portuguese Institute of Sport and Youth (IPDJ), in partnership with the youth associative movement, has prepared for today.
On the other hand, «the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage grants free admission to young people up to 29 years of age, in the Museums, Palaces and Monuments under its supervision, which are open to the public today. Many municipalities extend the events to the entire month of August. At FATACIL, on 25th August, Europe Direct Algarve and the DYPALL Portimão network will once again take the theme and European campaigns for young people to Lagoa», added the CCDR Algarve.
