The winners of the 2019 edition of the Arte Doce Competition Fair, which took place this weekend in Lagos, are already known.
This year, the organization introduced two new categories, Innovation Sweets and Stand Decoration, as a way to modernize the experience of participants and visitors.
With a new, more modern image and an increase in its space, the 32nd edition of the Arte Doce Contest Fair had thousands of visitors who were able to appreciate the best that Algarve's sweets have to offer, with handicraft stands at their disposal, tasquinhas, the presence of Baixo Alentejo as an invited region, wine tasting and new flavors of the region's gastronomy.
The animation was in charge of several artists who passed pelos two stages in the venue, highlighting David Fonseca, Raquel Tavares and Agir, who warmed up the summer nights on what is the sweetest weekend in Lagos and the Algarve.
This year, the fair also counted, right at its opening, with the presentation to the public of the greatest Dom Rodrigo in the world. Weighing in at 126,7 kilos, the giant Dom Rodrigo was approved by the Guinness Book of Records and given to prove to hundreds of people.
