A classical music concert, a special menu and a careful selection of wines. These are the ingredients of the show “Tasting Notes” of the Algarve International Music Festival (FIMA), which will take place on the day May 18, at 20:00 pm, no.the Hotel Eva, in Faro,.

In this musical and wine experience, the music will be guaranteed by the Orquestra Clássica do Sul (OCS), which organizes FIMA, under the direction of conductor José Eduardo Gomes. The gastronomic part is in charge of Chef Alberto Carvalho, responsible not only for the menu that will be served at dinner but also for the wine pairing.

«At every moment of the meal, a wine will be served to taste to the sound of the wonderful melodies that will accompany the entire evening», describes the OCS.

Chabrier, Delibes, Mozart, Schubert and Strauss are some of the composers whose works make up this evening's programme. To taste each of the dishes that make up this evening's dinner, the Chef's choices focused mainly on the harvests from Quinta de S. Sebastião.

All of this will take place at the Hotel Eva's Harune Restaurant, with the Ria Formosa in the background.
