The XIX Fair of Knowledge and Flavors takes place from the 24th to the 26th of May, in Santana da Serra, municipality of Ourique.
After the Feira do Porco Alentejano and the Feira de Garvão, this «is another opportunity to get in touch with the best of our rural world, who in Santana da Serra have the special influence of the mountains that demarcate the territory of Baixo Alentejo with the Algarve », says the Chamber of Ourique.
«Santana da Serra will be the stage for traditions, knowledge and flavors and lots of musical entertainment, in a moment of conviviality, encounters and re-encounters that cement an experience of our communities and their intense, sustained and wise relationship with rurality». adds.
The musical entertainment starts with Luís Godinho (22:00), on Friday, the 24th.
On Saturday, the 25th, there is a parade by the Seville Group Rocieras de Alcochete (16:00 pm) and performances by the Coral and Instrumental Group Campos do Alentejo (21:00 pm) and Rui Soares& Lau (22:30 pm).
On the last day, the Choir and Instrumental Group “Encantos do Alentejo” (14:30), the Vozes do Alentejo Choir Group (15:30), the Rancho Folclórica Amigos de Montenegro (16:00), Pedro Barradas (17:00) and Vânia Silva (19:00) at the Sunday May 26th.
