Children between 6 and 13 years old will learn to program in Scratch in the action “I want to know about… Programming”, which will take place on May 18, at 15:30 pm, at the Municipal Library of Silves and will be hosted by the Ciência Viva Center of Lagos.
"The activity, aimed at audiences between children aged 6 to 13 and their families, will allow participants to learn, with the use of this visual programming language, in a fun way to create games, animations and interactive stories", according to the Chamber of Silves, which organizes the session.
Those interested in participating will have to register and will have to bring, if possible, a laptop or tablet, "so that they can have greater ease in performing and following up on the proposed tasks".
