As of today, Tesla users can access a new Supercharger in Portugal, located in Alcantarilha, at Amendoeira Golf Resort.
This equipment has eight individual Superchargers and allows new routes to the south, facilitating mobility between the different regions and tourist beaches of the Algarve.
All individual Superchargers at the Alcantarilha station allow you to charge the Tesla Model S, Model X and Model 3.
With this new location, Tesla's Superchargers network continues to expand across the country, now having six Superchargers in Portugal and a total of 52 individual Supercharging points distributed in these six locations. The Alcantarilha Supercharger joins those located in Alcácer do Sal, Vila Real, Guarda, Fátima and Montemor-o-Novo.
While the most convenient way to charge vehicles is at home or at work, Tesla has created a worldwide charging network for when drivers want to take long trips.
For long-distance travel, customers can use Superchargers, one of the world's fastest charging solutions, which allows Tesla vehicles to be charged in minutes rather than hours, while vehicle occupants take a short coffee break. or to enjoy the services of different places, such as the Amendoeira Golf Resort.
Tesla already has more than 450 European Supercharger stations in Europe that allow long-distance and cross-border travel across the entire territory.
In addition, Tesla also focused on expanding its Destination Charging network in Portugal.
With the Destination Charging program, Tesla has further enhanced the charging experience by partnering with hotels, resorts and restaurants around the world, replicating the convenient charging experience that Tesla users are used to having at home.
Charging at Destination allows you to charge up to 80 kilometers of autonomy per hour, while the owners go shopping or spend the night in a hotel.
In Portugal, you can already find almost 125 Destination Charging from the north of Portugal to the beaches of the Algarve, located in shopping centers, car parks, hotels…
With both the Superchargers network and the Destination Charging network, Tesla wants to ensure a uniform charging experience, no matter where owners want to travel.
By constantly expanding the range of charging options, Tesla allows owners to embark on new adventures and journeys by car in Portugal and across Europe. Both networks will continue to grow in the coming months, adding new cargo locations across the country.
