This Sunday, April 7th, the association Almargem will take a walk along the route of the 7 fountains, at Fonte da Benémola, in the interior of the municipality of Loulé.
This is a «special trail along the river that allows us to appreciate all its natural richness. Let's get to know its sources, daughters-in-law, waterways and forgotten watermills», describes Almargem.
The spring, “the eye”, the Fonte da Benémola, the weirs and their springs are the main points of interest on this route, together with the opportunity to hear the stories of the local inhabitants.
«Bring a snack and a drink to share and enjoy a terrace in a rustic villa overlooking the valley», challenges Almargem.
The meeting point is at 9:00 am, next to the Duarte Pacheco Monument, in Loulé, or at 9:30 am in the Fonte da Benémola car park.
The activity costs 5 euros for adults and is free for children under 12 years old.
