Ideias do Levante – Associação Cultural de Lagoa presents the “Opera Rocks” project, on May 11, at 20 pm, at Vale do Lobo Auditorium.
The concert will feature performances by Carla Pontes (soprano), Ray van Duijvenbode (voice and guitar), Cristiana Silva (piano) and Mário Rui Filipe (narrator).
“Opera Rocks” is a classic love story in which a rock star (Freddy) enters the life of a diva, soprano Maria. The story is presented to the public by a narrator (Mário Rui Filipe). Maria is played by Carla Pontes and Freddy is played by Ray van Duijvenbode.
The musicians are accompanied on the piano by Cristiana Silva.
