A man died this afternoon, run over by a train, in the Meia Praia area. The situation forced the interruption of the Algarve Line between Portimão and Lagos.
Source of the District Relief Operations Command told the Sul Informação that the alert was given at 15:39.
There were 17 operational and 7 vehicles from the Fire Department of Lagos, INEM and GNR at the site.
A GNR source told our newspaper that it could have been a case of suicide.
