Vale de Lobo already has charging stations for electric vehicles

The objective is to provide the municipality of Loulé with 20 charging stations

Since the 15th of March, the Vale de Lobo square has had four semi-rapid charging stations for electric vehicles.

According to Infralobo, this is a measure that «represents another step in the sustainable mobility policy that has been adopted in the territory covered by the municipality of Loulé».

Under the Municipal Strategy for Adaptation to Climate Change in Loulé, «the first six charging stations for electric vehicles in the municipality of Loulé had already been implemented in Vilamoura in August 2018, with the objective of providing the territory of the municipality of Loulé with a total of 20 semi-fast and fast charging stations», adds the municipal company.

The forecast, according to Infralobo, "is that the network will gradually expand to other places in the municipality, allowing an increasing number of motorists to use the points to charge the batteries of their electric vehicles."
