Dance, singing, photography or theater workshops will take place during the Easter holidays for young people in Silves, between 8 and 18 April. Registration is open until the 29th of March.
The workshops are promoted by the Chamber of Silves, through the Youth Sector, and by the Commission for the Protection of Children and Youth at Risk of Silves (CPCJ).
The initiative is aimed at young residents or students in the municipality of Silves and those interested should register by filling out an appropriate form, available here.
The workshops will take place in Silves, in different locations. On the 8th of April, the Auditorium of the Secondary School of Silves will host the first singing workshop with trainer Carla Pontes. This training is exclusively for young people enrolled in the Young Artists Project of the Municipality of Silves.
For the young public in general, the municipality prepared painting workshops, on the 9th and 10th of April, with the trainer Meire Gomes, at the Silves Kindergarten, and photography, on the 11th of April, with the trainer Gonçalo Caiola , which will take place in the Polyvalent room of the Escola Secundária de Silves. Participants in this training must bring a camera.
There will also be a theater writing workshop, between April 12th and 15th, with the trainer Andreia Branco, and an introduction to theater/dramatic expression workshop, on April 16th and 17th, which will be held in the Auditorium of Escola Secundária of Silves.
Finally, there will also be a Hip-Hop dance workshop, on the 18th of April, in the auditorium of Escola EB 2,3 de Silves.
