RTA launches Observatory for Sustainable Tourism at BTL

The Algarve Tourism Region (RTA) presents the “Observatory for Sustainable Tourism” on March 14, at 14 pm, at the destination's stand at the Lisbon Tourism Exchange, BTL (Pavilion 00).

The initiative is attended by the Secretary of State for Tourism Ana Mendes Godinho and the president of RTA João Fernandes.

Representatives of the Observatory's partner entities will also be present at this session, namely, Luís Araújo, president of Turismo de Portugal, Francisco Serra, president of the Algarve Regional Coordination and Development Commission, and Paulo Águas, rector of the University of Algarve.

Also highlighted will be RTA's innovations and bets for 2019 in the context of enhancing the region's tourism potential, in areas such as Nature Tourism, Active Tourism and Heritage and Culture.
