National Security and Defense Days arrive at Faro

National Defense Institute (IDN) chose Faro to carry out another edition of the event

The national debate in the area of ​​security and defense will be held in Faro, during the Decentralized National Security and Defense Days, which will take place from March 29th to April 4th in the Algarve capital.

The initiative, promoted by the National Defense Institute (IDN), in partnership with the Municipal Council of Faro and the University of Algarve, includes an Intensive Course on Security and Defense, which will take place on the same days as the days, in after-work hours, at the Salão Nobre of the Paços do Concelho de Faro.

The event's program also included a public conference on the theme "The Role of the Armed Forces in Portugal in the 2st Century", which will take place on April 11, at 00:3 am, at the Penha Campus of the University of Algarve, as well as the seminar “The Sea: a national strategic asset”, to be held at the UAlg Campus of Gambelas, on April 9, at 45:XNUMX am.

The Chamber of Faro also highlights the signing of framework protocols with municipalities in the Algarve in the context of the “Reference for Education for Security, Defense and Peace”, in the afternoon of 2 April, at Escola Secundária João de Deus, in Faro.
