Ferreiras achieves another victory at the Youth Triathlon Circuit

FC Ferreiras leads overall standings

FC Ferreiras won the second stage of the Algarve Youth Triathlon Circuit, held last Saturday, March 2, at the Complexo Desportivo de Alvor (Portimão). 

The team from the municipality of Albufeira collected 1263 points, followed by Lusitano Futebol Clube /Frusoal (1161) and Portinado (688).

In fourth place was the O2 Triathlon S'Look team and, in fifth, the Bike de São Brás (384). In sixth place, with the same points, were CCD Lagos/Intermarché (290) and Triathlon de Faro (290). In last was the Cycling Center of Portimão.

This competition was part of the calendar of initiatives “Portimão European City of Sport 2019” and the “Março Jovem” program of the Municipality of Portimão.

The competition was organized by O2 – Portimão and had the participation of 77 young people. For the first time in the Algarve, there was the participation of an athlete from the Down Syndrome category.

The 3rd Stage will take place on the 30th of March at the Municipal Swimming Pools of Lagos, organized by CCD Lagos, Lagos City Council and the Triathlon Federation of Portugal.

2. Portinado - 360 points
2. Lusitano FC / Frusoal – 360 points
4. Bike de São Brás – 350 points
5. O2 Triathlon S'Look – 330 points
6. Triathlon of Faro - 295 points
7. Portimão Cycling Center – 250 points
8. CCD Lagos/ Intermarché – 145 points
