Parking in Monte Gordo and VRSA can now be paid through the app

Portimão and Tavira already have the service

Charged parking in Vila Real de Santo António and Monte Gordo can now be paid through the Via Verde Estacionar app. These two locations join Tavira and Portimão, where it was already possible to use the application to make the payment.

Via Verde emphasizes that the application is free and that it is “in the national expansion phase”.

Besides Monte Gordo and Vila Real de Santo António, the app also arrived in Espinho last week. «With the availability of the app in these three new locations, which have a total offer of 3.222 charged surface parking spaces, the Via Verde Parking service will be available, since last week, for more than 40.500 spaces, in the fifteen locations all over the country where it is already possible to use this Via Verde service».

As explained by Via Verde, the application "allows parking on the street, without requiring a Via Verde identifier and freeing the driver from the worry of coins or pre-loading, without receipts and without having to go to the parking meter."

Through the app, «the customer can also extend the parking time and even locate the vehicle. In practice, the system will greatly simplify the process, both for the inhabitants of the municipalities and for visitors”, guarantees the company.

Besides Monte Gordo, Vila Real de Santo António and Espinho, the service can be used in Tavira, Portimão, Amadora, Almada, Cascais, Loures, Oeiras, Porto, Vila Nova de Gaia, Bragança, Figueira da Foz and Vila Real.
