The suspect of having killed a man with a stab in the neck at dawn on the 2nd, Saturday, in Praia da Rocha, Portimão, surrendered to the Judiciary Police yesterday, Wednesday, and was arrested.
“The crime will have been committed following an altercation between the suspect and the victim”, which ended up “hit in the neck, the wound causing death”, revealed the PJ.
The newspaper Correio da Manhã said at the time that the stabbing was motivated by the victim's refusal to give the aggressor a cigarette.
The suspect of having committed the crime, who had already been identified by the authorities, ended up turning himself in “yesterday, at the end of the afternoon, at the Criminal Investigation Department of Portimão of the Judiciary Police”.
Now, he will be present at the first judicial interrogation for the application of a coercive measure.
