“A Lenda dos Piratas” is the central theme of the Carnival activities that will take place at the Municipal Swimming Pool Complex in Silves, between February 28th and March 6th.
Carnival will be celebrated in the gymnasium, exercise room and swimming pools, «users can find exercises in pairs and games alluding to the theme, carnival music, as well as technicians characterized strictly», says the Chamber of Silves.
Users will also be challenged to bring their carnival masks, thus participating in a different way of doing sport.
According to the municipality, the objective of this initiative is, «through the commemoration of this festive date, to encourage and motivate users to participate in classes in a more playful and fun way, breaking the routine and increasing their satisfaction».
