Boa Esperança Atlético Clube Portimonense fulfills tradition once again and takes to the stage a new show by Revista à Portuguesa

Revista à Portuguesa returns to Portimão and, this time, “A Culpa é do Cu…meta”. Boa Esperança Atlético Clube Portimonense maintains an annual tradition with more than 50 years and opens on March 8, at 21 pm, a show where humor and good humor prevail.

From that day on, “A Culpa é do Cu…meta” can be seen on Fridays and Saturdays at 21 pm and on Sundays at 00:14 pm and 30:17 pm, always in the Boa Esperança room. With original texts by Carlos Pacheco, this magazine with good humor will be represented on stage by Carlos Pacheco, Telma Brazona, Flávio Vicente, Sandra Rodrigues, Soraia Correia and Lurdes Carriçal.

In 2019, the show to be presented is «a scathing criticism of the state of the nation, where guilt almost always dies single. The excuse most used by our “Gergonça”, where the “Politicians give us “Tanga”, with “Banks going bankrupt”, “Tolls to pay”, “Gasoline a Rise” and “Saúde a Définhar”».

«This is a show full of brilliance, where you can travel by plane to Mars without leaving your seat. He will meet Dolores Aveiro at Madeira airport and it is she, Ronaldo's mother, who will score goals in her own way, whether Italian, Spanish or Brazilian. In Alcochete, we will salute, with kicks and shins, the leonine squad, who don't play anything football», describes the Portimão Town Council.

«In a very modern circus, with a sparkling star, a star will sing, in an unforgettable moment. At Ballet School, dressed to the nines, the crooked-legged students are not good at dancing. The puppet does not want to be trapped, in life he has a dream, to be free and to be able to love. In the Corrida à Portuguesa, a “double step” will dance, with the campinos and the rider, PAN will protest. “Dessecalhados à Primeira Vista” is the final picture, a couple coming from Porto for the wedding night», adds the municipality.

In this play, each act will end «superbly, with the audience invited on a journey through the world of today with all its hilarious situations, providing a night of laughs».

Boa Esperança has been keeping alive the tradition of the Revista à Portuguesa in Portimão. This art «has grown and evolved over the years, transforming a local comedy, initially entitled Revista de Carnaval, into a great nationally successful show, which after being on stage in Portimão, toured the country with a sharp satire that makes laugh all without exception».

“A Culpa é do Cu…meta” is officially sponsored by the Municipality of Portimão and institutionally supported by the Parish Council of Portimão.
