The IV Trail Cachopo Solidário, organized by the 4th Company of the Intervention Group for Protection and Relief (GIPS) of the GNR, takes place on the 17th of March, from 9:00 am, in that parish of the municipality of Tavira.
This between it will be carried out on urban stretches and signposted trails, featuring uneven floors, natural obstacles, watercourses and land surrounding the village of Cachopo, mostly through hills and valleys, «with magnificent natural beauty», says the GNR.
The race will have walking slopes (10 kilometers), between short (16 kilometers), between teams (22 kilometers) and between long (30 kilometers).
This edition is intended to support the Oncological Association of the Algarve (AOA).

The mission of GNR's GIPS is to carry out first-rate prevention and intervention actions throughout the national territory, in emergency situations of protection and assistance, namely in the event of forest fires, hazardous materials, catastrophes or serious accidents.
