In Loulé, “Everyone Plays… Handball” on Carnival Sunday

Organization calls on participants to bring their mask

On Carnival Sunday, March 2, “Everyone Plays… Handball” at the Pavilhão Desportivo Municipal de Loulé. The sports equipment will open the door to a free handball game, as part of the “Viva o Sport 2019” program.

As explained by the Chamber of Loulé, "all those interested will have the opportunity to enjoy a space to practice this sport, whether or not they have experience and prior contact with handball."

The autarchy also says that "the objective of this program is to provide informal athletes with opportunities to practice sports in the pavilion modality, to which they often do not have access".

«And as it's Carnival and nobody takes it wrong, the organization calls on these “handballistas” to bring their mask and have fun “in the big and the Loulé style”», adds the City Council.

This activity has the partnership of the Casa da Cultura de Loulé, the main association representing handball in the municipality of Loulé.
