The Algarve fado singer Isa de Brito gives a concert this Saturday, January 12th, at 18 pm, at Igreja do Carmo, in Tavira.
Isa Brito was born in Quarteira and was born in 1984. «Fado has been part of his life path since a very early age. Today he is one of the elements of the Grupo de Teatro Amador de Quarteira, which has provided him with the development of various artistic strands», says Câmara de Tavira.
In musical terms, Isa de Brito is part of the Al Mouraria Group that will soon present the album “Fadinho a Dois”.
This concert is part of the program “Música nas Igrejas”, an organization of the Academy of Music of Tavira that has the support of the Municipality of Tavira, the Regional Directorate of Culture of the Algarve and Rádio Gilão.
The aim of the initiative is "to dynamize the built heritage, as well as to promote a taste for music". The concerts take place every Saturday and are aimed at the general public.
