Tavira hosts an adapted handball meeting that combines sport with the social aspect

Second edition of the event will have "lots of news" compared to 2018

The National Handball Meeting for Intellectual Disabilities will be held again in Tavira, between the 5th and 7th of April and will unite the sports and social aspects.

The second edition of the event will have "many news", according to the event organizers. In 2019, «in addition to the competitive aspect (the two levels of Handball-5 competition will be in action), which will take place at the Municipal Pavilion of Tavira, it also has a relevant social aspect, given that other initiatives are planned parallel to this Meeting».

Information and news about the event can be followed through from Clube Vela de Tavira's Facebook page, which joined the Irene Rolo Foundation, the Municipality of Tavira and ANDDI-Portugal to promote this event, with the support of the Project Andebol4All of the Portuguese Handball Federation, the Algarve Handball Association, the IPDJ and the National Program of Sport for All.
