This is followed by a debate on the theme “33 years of European integration: Algarve, employment and innovation”, moderated by José Apolinário (former member of the European Parliament and current Secretary of State for Fisheries), in which António Branco participates. (former dean of the University of Algarve), Rui Roque, director of Nautiber, Filomena Rosa, the resident of IPSS Casa de Protección à Rapariga, Humberto Teixeiral, director of HT-Group, and Chitra Stern, owner of Grupo Martinhal.

The closing session of this reflection on European integration, the impact on the Algarve's development and the consequences of Brexit for the region will be chaired by António Costa, who will then participate in the PS/Tavira New Year's lunch.

“What Europe in the future of your Region” is the question that is asked to participants in each of the seven regional conventions that kick off this Saturday in Alentejo and end with a national convention on February 16th in Vila Nova de Gaia.
