Students from the Dr. Alberto Iria School Group will gather on January 30, at 10:30 am, at Jardim Pescador Olhanense, to make a “Human Cordon for Non-Violence and Peace in Schools”.
«Since the theme of violence in schools is increasingly frequent and assumes increasingly complex and worrying contours, which deserve a careful, articulated and urgent analysis by the school, family and community institution, we intend with this initiative, to alert and sensitize society to values such as respect, cooperation, solidarity and peace”, says the Association of Parents of the Grouping of Schools Dr. Alberto Iria.
The objective will be to form a human cord that extends along the pier to the Ria hotel, in which not only the Dr. Alberto Iria Schools Group will participate, but also all those who want to join hands in favor of peace and non-violence .
This is, therefore, «an event open to the whole community and everyone is welcome and invited to participate, simply by wearing a piece of blue clothing».
