Anyone who wants to be a surf coach will have the opportunity to take training in Aljezur, in March and April.
The Odeceixe Surf School will promote a Degree 1 Trainer Training course – Surf and Performance, in partnership with Universidade Lusófona and with the support of the Parish Council of Aljezur.
The course, which is recognized by the Portuguese Institute of Sport and Youth, will be director Sandro Maximiliano and has a duration of 100 hours, also including an internship. Classes take place after working hours, from Thursday to Saturday.
This offer arises from the need, identified by several surf schools in the Algarve, to accompany this development of this sport in the region, namely its tourism component, «with specialized training».
The objective is to «give more quality, safety and prestige» to surf education in the region, according to the Odeceixe Surf School.
