The 6th Cidade de Lagoa International Handball Tournament runs until tomorrow, Sunday, December 23, at the Pavilhão Desportivo lagoense, with the participation of 22 male and female teams, coming from all over Portugal and neighboring Spain.
Altogether, there are 400 direct participants, plus their families, who come to Lagoa during the low tourist season.
Organized by Lagoa Académico Clube and with the support of the Lagoa City Council, the tournament, which has already become a tradition in the sport, has special sponsors.
