Producers from low-density territories will «show off the best of the Algarve», on December 28th and 29th, between 15 pm and 00 pm, at the Traditional Christmas Market at the Tivoli Marina Vilamoura Algarve Resort.
The Cooperative QRER «accepted the challenge» of the Tivoli Marina Vilamoura to co-organize this Christmas market, which will bring together, on each day, «a different set of brands, in order to guarantee that the visitor always finds new things».
This event «has as main objective to promote the quality Algarve products that we find in the interior and in the low density territories of the region, in order to provide its guests and visitors with a deep immersion in the local culture», explains the cooperative.
Visitors can try out on the stands of producers, participate in workshops and in “some special moments”. QRER gives the example of a cocktail produced by the team from the Tivoli Marina Vilamoura, on Friday, «which will include some of the most typical products of the region».
There will also be an opportunity for a know-how experience with a young local artisan from the TASA Project, “who will teach the participants how to make a souvenir using the art of the contract”.
On Saturday 29th December, Phermad (Fernando Madeira) will perform caricatures of the visitors, «always framed in a bucolic setting of the Algarve's Barrocal Mountains and Mountains».
Finally, Nf Cork will streamline a workshop where he will teach how to reuse a cork stopper adopting an environmentally friendly attitude.
Participation at all times during the event's program is free and prior registration is not required. However, the activities have a limited number of participants.
