Madalena Lopes becomes the national vice champion in the Artistic Swimming Figure Championships

Despite the lack of conditions, the Portimão club continues to add titles

Madalena Lopes, from Portinado, was runner-up nationally, while her teammate Adriana Valentim won the Bronze medal at the National Championships of Artistic Swimming Figures, which took place at Mealhada, this Sunday.

Highlight also for two-fifth places in the children's category, with a total of 68 athletes, and in the youth category, with a total of 72 athletes.

The debut of the master category in national competitions also brought to Portimão a silver medal, achieved by Adriana Valentim.

“All the work we have been doing, all the effort, all this struggle in the face of the conditions we have, gives a better taste to all these results”, emphasize those responsible for Portinado – Portimão Swimming Club.

In this, which was the first time that the Portinado team presented, in the same championship, swimmers from the child, youth, junior and master classes, coach Catarina Costa was very grateful for the posture and work shown by the
