The Winter Champion Cup, a competition aimed at the senior level of men's futsal, is the new competition launched by the Football Association of the Algarve. The first edition takes place on the 12th and 13th of January, at Pavilhão Jacinto Correia, in Lagoa.
The competition will put the four best classifieds from the 1st district division to the 9th round, as well as the first two from the A and B Series of the 2nd division to the 10th round, face to face.
On the 12th, the semi-finals will be played, with the leader of series A facing the runner-up of series B, at 14:00, and the second of series A comparing forces with the first of series B, at 16:00.
At 18:00, the match between the 1st and XNUMXth ranked teams in the XNUMXst division will start, before the match between the teams in the XNUMXnd and XNUMXrd places.
On Sunday, the 13th, the 2nd and 1st division finals will be played, with the kick-off scheduled for 15:00 and 17:00, respectively.
The first edition of the Winter Champion Cup is organized by the Algarve Football Association, with the support of the Lagoa City Council.
