The University of Algarve (UAlg) participated, this Thursday and Friday, 8 and 9 November, in the 32nd Student Fair that took place in Luxembourg.
Aimed at secondary school students, this initiative was attended by representatives from 18 countries and more than 9 visitors.
«Having as its main objective to disseminate the training offer, the presence of the Algarve academy also served to establish contacts and exchange information with other institutions», says UAlg.
As in previous years, representatives from various Universities and Polytechnic Institutes of Portugal were present at the Embassy of Portugal in Luxembourg.
On the 8th of November, an information session was held on access to higher education in Portugal, aimed especially at secondary school students who want to continue their studies here.
It is the second time that UAlg is represented at this fair, within the scope of the project “Algarve is Our Campus – Study and Research in Algarve”, co-financed by the Algarve Regional Operational Program – CRESC Algarve 2020, through the Support System for Collective Actions – Internationalization.
This project aims to promote and reinforce the notoriety and attractiveness of the University of the Algarve and the Region, through the implementation of actions aimed at internationalization and the consequent increase in the number of international students, teachers and researchers.
