Lagos: Germans rescued by the Maritime Police near Camilo beach

People did not need any medical intervention

Two people, of German nationality, were rescued this Sunday afternoon, November 25, by a Maritime Police watercraft, near Camilo beach, in Lagos.

The two citizens were "isolated due to the rising tide", explains the National Maritime Authority.

The alert was received at the Lagos Maritime Police picket at 13:38 pm, and Maritime Police agents were deployed to the location by land, in order to locate the isolated people and, by sea, the Sagres lifeguard .

After its location, and due to favorable sea conditions, the rescue was carried out by sea, using a personal watercraft, operated by an agent of the Maritime Police of Lagos, and the people were transported to the beach of Camilo.
