Gira MegaCracks brings together children and professional players from the Spanish team Movistar Inter, one of the best futsal teams in the world, to share experiences, with lots of fun guaranteed, on Friday, August 24th, at 17 pm, at Portimão Arena. O Portuguese Ricardinho will be one of the featured figures.
The initiative is part of the Masters Cup Futsal, which takes place on the 25th and 26th, with four of the best teams in the world in futsal: Sporting Clube de Portugal, Sport Lisboa e Benfica, Movistar Inter FS and Magnus Futsal.
The Movistar Megacracks Tour, the most important event of the Movistar Inter FS, leaves Spain for the second time in its history, to spread the magic of futsal abroad, this time in Portimão.
On August 24, players will have fun with the children, in a meeting that will also feature the participation of children and young people with disabilities, one of the hallmarks of this project, which shows young people that, regardless of their abilities, everyone they can play sport and enjoy together.
This project is an Education, Sport and Integration program, aimed at children aged between 6 and 12 years.
«Megacracks has become a social reference and the only event that combines sport with the essential values of life: equity, commitment, team, integration, solidarity, learning, culture and, above all, lots of fun», explains the organization.
For two hours, between 17:00 and 19:00, participants will be on the field and share experiences with futsal stars Movistar Inter FS, learning technical and tactical concepts of the sport in a playful and sporting interaction, where mini-games, activities and various challenges where fun will be constant.
Portimão Arena will receive the blue color of the Spanish team Movistar Inter and vibrate with the joy of the most, who will be able to interact with the players of the best futsal team in the world, among which the Portuguese Ricardinho, elected the best player in the world of Futsal modality.
Javier Lorent Peña, sports director at Movistar, invites all children who reside or are on vacation in the Algarve region to come enjoy this show and interact with Movistar players, especially with Ricardinho.
For her part, Isilda Gomes, mayor of Portimão, is convinced that it will be an opportunity to learn sporting techniques from the best player in the world, encouraging the youngest layers of the municipality to this sport and an excellent example for the practice of adapted sport.
In more than ten years of existence in Spain, the Movistar Megracks Tour has passed by around 130 thousand school-age children, while more than 11 thousand athletes with functional diversity have already participated in this event.
