Portimonense lost, this afternoon, by 2-0, against Desportivo de Chaves, and added the second defeat, in two games, in the Primeira Liga. Marcão and Perdigão scored the goals that gave the victory to the Flavienses.

Portimonense was even the first team to create relative danger, in the 20th minute, when Nakajima crossed low into the area, but no one appeared to deflect.

Soon after, on the 23rd minute, the match referee signaled Ewerton's hand on the ball, inside the area. André Narciso still appealed to the VAR, but kept the decision. Called to hit, Marcão tricked Ricardo Ferreira and made it 1-0.

The Algarvian team didn't have much time to react to the goal as, on 31 minutes, Perdigão, from outside the area, shot hard and without chance for the goalkeeper of Portimonense, making it 2-0.

In the second half, Portimonense tried to reduce, had a good chance on 51 minutes by Ewerton who, in good position, shot over, but the final result did not change until the final whistle.

Portimonense has two defeats in two games, has conceded four goals and has yet to score.
