Fátima Catarina's departure motivates change

Carlos Manso is the new chairman of the Board of Directors of the municipal company Infralobo, after the departure of Fátima Catarina to the position of vice-president of the Algarve Tourism Region. 

Since March of this year, Carlos Manso was the general director of Infralobo. Before, for nine years, between 2009 and 2018, he assumed the functions of administrative and financial director of the company.

With a degree in Business Management from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Algarve, he is deputy coordinator of the Regional Delegation of the Algarve of the Ordem dos Economistas.

In 2011, he was the administrative-financial director of the municipal company Ambiolhão and, at the same time, responsible for the organic definition of the municipal company.

He also held the functions of financial director at Visualforma company.

He also held a position in the administration of ACASO – Cultural and Social Support Institution of Olhão, with responsibility for the financial area and internal control.

Infralobo was created in 1999 and currently has a team of approximately 80 employees, divided into the Administrative, Financial, Technical and Environmental areas.

The company Vale do Lobo is 51% owned by the Municipality of Loulé and 49% by Vale do Lobo Resort.
