The 1st Granfondo Municipality of Silves/ADECT, in cycling, will take place on 15 September, starting at 9:30 am, from Tunis.
The initiative, which is part of the Municipal Day commemorative program, is promoted by the Municipality of Silves and the Sports and Cultural Association of Tunis (ADECT).
With a total distance of 75 kilometers, the race has a positive slope of 750 meters and will have as crossing points Algoz, Alcantarilha, Pêra, Porches, Poço Barreto, Alcantarilha-Gare, São Bartolomeu de Messines, Amorosa, ending in Silves, predictably by 11:30 am.
Registration costs 15 euros (includes participation, cyclist kit and lunch), and must be made through the Cronosport platform at www.cronosport.pt.
Trophies will be awarded to the top three classifieds in the men's under23, men's elite, men's master 30, men's master 40, men's master 50, women's, and women's masters classes.
The 1st Granfondo Municipality of Silves/ADECT has the support of GNR, Firefighters from SB Messines, BikeSul, Algarve Delegation of the Portuguese Cycling Federation, Moto Clube do Algoz and Infrastructures of Portugal.
