Do you want to go see a Manchester United game, at the mythical Old Trafford stadium, with José Mourinho as coach? Well now it's easier. The esayJet airline will launch the flight Faro-Manchester, whose reservation is available for booking from today, with four weekly frequencies.
The people of the Algarve will now be able to book their next city break to the homeland of the Manchester United and Manchester City teams and enjoy the fantastic shopping opportunities in the city from the 2nd of November. The operation of this new route will extend until March 29, 2019.
“easyJet has been investing heavily in the airport of Faro, because it is one of those that has registered the greatest capacity for growth. In the last semester, the company grew more than 17% and, with our continuous reinforcement, we believe that we will have the potential to raise the bar once again. We want to continue putting Portugal on the map and we are very focused on this objective that will strengthen the national and regional economy”, reveals José Lopes, easyJet director for Portugal.
The new connection between the south of Portugal and Manchester, announced now by easyJet, is available for bookings from today, with the company now totaling 22 routes at the Airport of Faro, in a total of 63.
On June 1, the company had started operating the route. Faro-Milan/Malpensa. With the launch of these new routes, easyJet now has more than 1000 routes for sale across its global network – a milestone for the company.
