One person died and 9 were injured this morning in a collision between three cars in the Estômbar area, on the EN125. The mortal victim is a 20-year-old Portuguese boy. Among the nine injured, there are three of them in serious condition.
Source of the District Relief Operations Command told the Sul Informação that the alert was given at 9:24.
The accident occurred in the direction of Portimão – Lagoa, at kilometer 47, and the EN125 was cut in both directions until around 12:10, as our newspaper found on the spot.
According to a GNR source, the injured were transported to the Hospitals of Portimão and Faro.
To help the victims, 35 operators and 16 vehicles from the Fire Department, INEM and GNR were mobilized.
