The Caracol International Festival, which took place this weekend, from 20 to 22 July, was another "success", with three days of "sold out" at Revelim de Santo António, in Castro Marim.
As in other editions, this Festival featured the best aromas and flavors of the famous snail snack, brought by the hand of talented cooks from member associations and clubs and chefs from Spain, France and Morocco, who teamed up at the international counter , with chef Abílio Guerreiro, trainer at the Algarve Hotel and Tourism School.
According to the Chamber of Castro Marim, "the musical poster also attracted many visitors."
The street entertainment was with the group “Pardais à Solta” and the stage was shown by “Nelson Conceição Trio”, with a repertoire ranging from tango to coridinho in accordion, the Spanish group “Calle Pureza”, with Flamenco-Pop music, Andalusian music from Morocco with “Al-Sultan Wal Awtar”, the flamenco group from “Gracia Diaz”, “Os Quatro & Meia”, with a new Portuguese music show, the “Conjunto Memórias de António Mafra”, which recalls a of the biggest names in Portuguese popular music, and the “Amantes d'Fado” that closed another successful edition of this event.
To the ingredients of the International Caracol Festival «together with the excellent location of the event, on Colina do Revelim de Santo António, in Castro Marim, a privileged viewpoint for the territory, with 360º visibility».
