The project “PARTIS – Artistic Practices for Social Inclusion” is presented next Monday, June 18, from 10:30 am to 13:00 pm, in the auditorium of the Convento do Espírito Santo, in Loulé. 

This is an initiative of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation that aims to support, through subsidies and training actions, organizations that develop projects whose core methodology involves putting artistic practices (plastic, audiovisual and/or performance) at the service of the inclusion of socially excluded or on paths of great social vulnerability.

In this context, PARTIS seeks, through the projects it makes possible, to find new languages ​​of communication between groups and communities that usually do not intersect and to provoke encounters of interests that contribute to the reduction of social inequalities and to greater autonomy for people and communities. disadvantaged.

Bearing in mind that in July 2018 PARTIS will launch a new competition, the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation promotes a clarification session for entities that develop their work in the Algarve, in the artistic and social areas, to make the project known and reinforce the possibility of your participation in this contest.

In this session, which has the support of the Loulé City Council and the Regional Directorate of Culture of the Algarve, in addition to presenting the lines of action of PARTIS, practical issues relating to candidacies will also be addressed, with a view to boosting candidacies of greatest success.
