The VI Festa do Caracol will animate São Bartolomeu de Messines between the 8th and 10th of June. The event takes place in the town's Municipal Garden and, in addition to snacks, featuring the snail in the spotlight, there will be handicrafts, music and lots of entertainment.
According to the Câmara de Silves, this party, which is in its sixth edition, usually attracts many lovers of this “typically Algarve” dish to São Bartolomeu de Messines.
The Caracol Festival is organized by the União Desportiva Messinense and has the support of the Câmara de Silves.
