A meeting of the Investalgarve network – Regional Support Network for Regional Economic Development will take place this Friday, June 8, at the Municipal Library of Olhão.

The meeting is promoted by the Intermunicipal Community of Algarve (AMAL), University of Algarve (UAlg), NERA and ANJE Algarve, which constitute the coordinating nucleus of the network, with the support of the Municipality of Olhão.

Starting at 10:00 am, the meeting is aimed at technicians from local authorities and other interested entities and will be attended by the mayor of Olhão António Pina and the first secretary of AMAL Joaquim Brandão Pires.

The program will include panels on “Algarve 2030 – Financial perspectives for the next programming period of structural funds” or the presentation and status of various regional projects.

The Investalgarve network is a partnership on a regional scale between public and private entities, promoted by AMAL and created in 2015, for the development and facilitation of stimulating economic activity in the region.

In all, more than a dozen meetings have been held within the scope of the Investalgarve network in various parts of the region.
