A training and awareness-raising action on “Forestry and Plant Health Management” will take place on June 12, at 18 pm, at the São Pedro delegation of the União de Freguesias de Faro.
This action, carried out by that Union of parishes, in partnership with the “Forum Forestry” and the Institute for Nature and Forest Conservation, comes within the scope of the “Portugal without Fires Depends on Everyone” initiative.
According to the União de Freguesias, the training and awareness action "will last two hours and is aimed at owners or workers in agricultural and forestry land and who want to learn the best way to manage and eliminate the fuel load on these lands" , as well as «techniques for pruning trees and shrubs».
