The “Start Work III – Education, Professional Training, Entrepreneurship and Employment Exhibition” takes place on the 19th, 20th and 21st of April, at Portimão Arena, and already has 50 confirmed exhibitors. 

Among them are the “Manz” Group, official representative of the “Les Mills” programs, a unique system in the world for monitoring gyms and professionals, and leader in the fitness training market in Portugal, and the special project “Tivoli Talent Tour”, from the Tivoli Hotels & Resorts group, which is traveling the country looking for new talents in the hotel and tourism sector, with the objective of filling 300 vacancies in several areas, with the possibility of immediate hiring.

After the success of the first two editions, the “Start Work” «remains, in this way, as a bet of the Municipality of Portimão, which returns, in this way, to bring together companies and public and private institutions in the region in the Portimão Arena, with customer service. face-to-face to visitors», says the Chamber of Portimão.

Pestana Hotel Group, Jupiter Hotel Group, Martinhal Family Hotels & Resorts, AKI, Leroy Merlin, Zoomarine Algarve, Slide & Splash Zoo of Lagos, Randstad Portugal, as well as the University of Algarve, Instituto Superior Manuel Teixeira Gomes (ISMAT), Instituto Piaget , DUAL – Professional Qualification, PSP – Public Security Police or SEF – Foreigners and Borders Services, are some of the companies and institutions already confirmed.

The event, which has free entry and will take place between 10:00 and 19:00 on April 19 and 20, and between 10:00 and 17:00 on the last day, aims to promote the dissemination of job offers and professional internships, programs and measures for investment support, professional training, normal and vocational secondary education and higher education, provided by companies and public and private educational institutions, polytechnics and universities in the municipality and region of the Algarve.

As usual, initiatives are also planned to promote courses taught by the represented educational institutions, and workshops and thematic demonstrations and short-term clarification sessions promoted by the companies and institutions present are scheduled.

“Start Work III – Education, Vocational Training, Entrepreneurship and Employment Exhibition” is a joint organization of the Municipality of Portimão and IEFP – Employment and Vocational Training Institute, IP and DGEstE – General Directorate of Schools DSR Algarve.
