esayJet's new flight between airports in Faro and Berlin-Tegel, which starts to be operated on the 1st of May, is already being a success, with more than 314 trips sold for the day of the first flight, announced that lowcost airline.
"Faro it is one of the top destinations for those visiting Portugal in the summer months and, in 2017, it was one of the most popular Portuguese destinations. As a result, on the 1st of May – where the Tegel-Faro – more than 178 passengers will fly to the airport of Faro. We want to continue putting Portugal on the map and we are very excited about the inaugurations that we have planned for this summer IATA 2018”, reveals José Lopes, director of easyJet for Portugal.
easyJet announced the new connection between the south of Portugal and Berlin, with fares starting at €24,24, with a great interest from local people in heading to the German city.
easyJet will be Berlin's largest airline, operating over 100 routes, with more than 16 million seats throughout the year.
The airline has increased frequencies on existing domestic routes and will start new flights from the city of Berlin to destinations such as Alicante, Biarritz, Cortu, Menorca, Pula, Gothenburg and Oslo.
