The fado singer Cuca Roseta will present, live, her new album “Luz”, in a concert on April 28, at 21 pm, at the Centro de Congressos do Arade, in Lagoa.
After exhausting the rooms of the CCB (Lisbon), the Casa da Música (Porto) and the Convento de São Francisco, in Coimbra, it was Cuca Roseta's turn to head to the Algarve.
The fado singer's new album has received critical acclaim. In the words of the fado singer, this concert in Lagoa «is the return to a city where I was immensely happy, when two years ago I sang with the Orquestra de Sopros do Algarve, in an incredible concert that left me enormously homesick».
«The Algarve is a region that says a lot to me, where I have many connections, both to people and places. I could not fail to present my new album -“Luz”- in the South and Lagoa will be my first destination. I bring a totally new concert, full of surprises and I hope that this “Light” of mine can shine and enchant the entire Algarve public», he says.
This is an album that brings together renowned names such as Pedro da Silva Martins, Jorge Fernando, Mário Pacheco, Hélder Moutinho and Carolina Deslandes.
In this concert, Cuca Roseta will be accompanied by Pedro Viana, on Portuguese guitar, Diogo Clemente (fado guitar), Frederico Gato (bass guitar), André Silva (percussion) and Ruben Alves, on keys and accordion.
The new “Luz” tour, which started in January, already has more than 60 concerts scheduled in Portugal and around the world. Tickets for the concert in Lagoa cost either 15 or 20 euros and can be purchased here
