Calema, Jack, Richie Campbell, Tara Perdida and Slow J are some of the strong names in 33rd Academic Week of the Algarve, which takes place from the 3rd to the 12th of May, again at Largo de São Francisco, in Faro.

The party poster was released this evening by the Academic Association of the University of Algarve (AAUAlg), in a camp of students.

It all starts on Thursday, the 3rd, with the traditional Monumental Opening Serenade. On Friday, there's Reverse, Possessive, Wet Bed Gang and Karetus.

For Saturday, May 5th, the poster includes Slow J and the artist reggae Richie Campbell as well as Beatbombers. On Sunday, the 6th, which is usually a day with less crowds, the party is ensured by the popular music of Miguel Azevedo.

The most dedicated day to rock will be on Monday (May 7th). Linkin Park tribute group Hybrid Theory will take the songs of the iconic band to “Wonderland”. The rest of the night is ensured by the Portuguese Tara Perdida.

Rúben Filipe and Saúl (yes, the one from “Bacalhau wants garlic”) promise to liven up the Academic Week on Tuesday, the 8th.

On Wednesday (9), the rap will be highlighted with the Algarve Kristóman, as well as Valete and ProfJam.

For Thursday, the performances of academic tunas are reserved, as usual. This year, the guests from the Algarve are TunaBebes, Real Tuna Infantina, Feminis Ferventis and Versus Tuna.

As for Friday, the penultimate day of “Wonderland”, the big names return, with Calema, Jojo Todynho and Putzgrilla, who already performed at the Academic Week last year.

At the end of another edition of the Algarvian students' party, there is Dillaz, Blaya and a name yet to be announced.
