The concert “Somos Feitos de Memórias”, by singer Olavo Bilac, takes place at the Centro de Congressos do Arade, in Parchal (Lagoa), on March 31, at 21 pm.

Owner of one of the most beloved voices of the Portuguese public, Olavo has a rich curriculum with constant participation in records and concerts of the most prestigious Portuguese and African singers, which make him one of the most unavoidable names in music in Portugal and in the countries of expression Portuguese.

Olavo Bilac's musical life began in 1987 with the formation of the band Santos&Pecadores, a project that continues until today and where he begins as the band's bass player.

The band's need to have a vocalist leads Olavo Bilac to start humming the first themes. Due to the timbre that characterizes his voice, he is soon accepted by the band as the main vocalist.

In 1993, he joined the “Resistance” project. During the year this project was active. gains enormous popularity and reveals to the world the band Santos&Pecadores, editing their first album, “Onde Estás?”, in 1995.

Throughout his musical career, he participates in several projects of other musicians, including “Portugal a Cantar” with Miguel Ângelo, Miguel Gameiro, Anabela and Rita Guerra.

He also gave voice to a hugely successful song for the relaunch of Paulo Gonzo's career – “Jardins Proibidos”.

In 2010, Olavo Bilac is one of the names that participates in the project “Zeca Semper”, which pays homage to José Afonso, in partnership with singers Nuno Guerreiro (Ex. Ala dos Namorados), Tozé Santos (Per7ume) and producer Vítor Silva.

In November 2012, the Santos&Pecadores career album is published, an album commemorating the band's 20 years of existence. The CD/DVD recording took place at the CCB, having been produced by Mário Barreiros and performed by RTP.

In 2017, Olavo Bilac revealed his desire to stay and return to the stage, with this show “We are made of memories”, which now takes place at the Centro de Congressos do Arade.
